My wife has been seeing James for years, originally at The Castle (in Tarrytown) and after it closed at home. I had developed severe congestion and overall pains as a result of a cold which lingered for weeks. James gave me a massage focusing on these areas which was very helpful in clearing the congestion. Would certainly recommend him for massage treatment.

I've had a few session with James and it gets better each time. James has what I'd like to call Goldilock hands. His hands easily finds the nooks and crannies of the areas that need the most attention; and he spends just the right amount of time and pressure working the knots out. He's really attentive and uses his time well. He's knowledgeable in his craft, and is willing to share that knowledge with you to maintain overall wellness. I've never had a masseuse who's massages keeps me limber for weeks on end. Also, I never walk away feeling sore, but always limber and refreshed. Bonus, he also does energy work if you're interested. I'll continue to work with James from here on out.

If I could give it 100 stars I would. Ibambe massages are different than any other massages I've ever had. The reason for this is because James is so attuned to energy that he is able to individualize the massage to fit your physical and energetic needs. After my massage, I felt my life was renewed. It felt like we worked together to strip away the stale life force within me by utilizing my breath and his healing powers to release those stuck emotions and experiences in my body. I was able to let them go with his guidance. His work is so important because it does not just heal at the surface level. Most experiences I've had, the massage therapist would work the muscles and I would feel good for the next few hours, but would shift right back into the physical tension as if I never had the massage. With Ibambe massage therapy, there was a much deeper longevity to the work that was done. I would highly recommend James as a massage therapist and energy healer to anyone who is open to experiencing a therapeutic massage and healing service to foster a deep tangible shift in their body and energy field.
